Sevcik's goals lift Missoula Maulers to 5-2 victory over Southern Oregon Spartans

Behind a great game by Sam Sevcik, who had two goals, Missoula Maulers defeated Southern Oregon Spartans, 5-2.

Sevcik scored on the power play at 12:45 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Missoula Maulers and again while on the power play 7:05 into the second to make the score 3-1 Missoula Maulers.

Missoula Maulers was often in penalty trouble, totaling nine minors and two majors for 28 minutes in penalty time. Missoula Maulers had been averaging 18.0 minutes in penalties per game. Missoula Maulers' offense rang up 52 shots on Southern Oregon Spartans' net.

Missoula Maulers also got points from Alex Shalamov, who also registered one goal and one assist and Paige Maul, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
