Oklahoma City Blazers and Springfield Express were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Oklahoma City Blazers made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Victor Ekk at 16:11 of the third period.

Oklahoma City Blazers got the win on the strength of a great game by Kirill Romanov, who had two goals and one assist. Romanov scored the first of his two goals at 9:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oklahoma City Blazers. Matthew Audette assisted on the tally.
