Las Vegas Storm falls to Valencia Flyers in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Valencia Flyers' Brian Martinez scored 2:58 into overtime to beat Las Vegas Storm, 5-4 (OT).

Valencia Flyers overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Valencia Flyers trailed 2-0 after a goal by Las Vegas Storm's Beau Ricketts at 10:03 in the first period. Valencia Flyers tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Nicholas Wilton at 10:47 in the third period.

Martinez was all over the ice for Valencia Flyers, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

Valencia Flyers kept Las Vegas Storm's goalie busy throughout the game, and Patrik Jokela made 39 saves on 44 shots.

Valencia Flyers additionally got points from Wilton, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Valencia Flyers also had goals scored by Blake Aguilar and Chase Thesman, who each put in one. In addition, Valencia Flyers received assists from Ray Wilson, Jakob Kranabetter, Kory Medeiros, and Jason Hart, who contributed one each.

Las Vegas Storm also got points from Kyle Pacheco, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Quinn Travis also scored for Las Vegas Storm. Other players who recorded assists for Las Vegas Storm were Jake McKenna, Alkhas Kochkarev, Brandon Bavis, Moritz Matzka, and Philip Traxler, who each chipped in one.

Silvan Delb took the win and made 23 saves before being replaced by Ole Nilsen who made zero saves. Valencia Flyers totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
