Missoula Maulers tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Idaho Junior Steelheads would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2. A goal by Victor Carlsson put Idaho Junior Steelheads up 3-1 in the third period, but Missoula Maulers pulled to within one on Chris Laporte's tally 18:18 into the third period. Ondrej Valo was all over the ice for Idaho Junior Steelheads, as he grabbed two goals in the win.
