London falls to Sarnia in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Sarnia Legionnaires' Riley Roberts scored 11:16 into overtime to beat the London Nationals, 3-2 (OT).

With the win, Sarnia evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

The Legionnaires overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Sarnia fell behind 2-0 after a goal by London's Ryan Tuffin at 15:40 in the second period. The Legionnaires tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Brad Campbell at 18:43 in the third period.

Sarnia was paced by Roberts, who registered one goal.

The Legionnaires kept the Nationals' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jacob Riley made 30 saves on 33 shots.

Davis Boyer also scored for Sarnia. In addition, Sarnia received assists from Curtis Crombeen, Riley Babkirk, and Billy Grillo, who contributed one a piece.

Sarnia was unable to stop London from sending pucks towards the net, and the Nationals eventually piled up 45 shots on goal.

London was helped by Matt Wildman, who finished with one goal. Wildman scored 2:57 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. Ryan Wells provided the assist. More assists for London came via Derek Todosichuk and Drew Worrad, who each chipped in one.

Hunter Johnson rejected 43 shots on goal for the Legionnaires. Sarnia incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Nationals incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
