Denver led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Cutthroats' Daniel Barczuk's scored at 3:51 in the second period to put Denver up 3-0.

Garrett Bembridge was all over the ice for the Cutthroats, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Bembridge scored 8:59 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Denver. Troy Schwab assisted on the tally.
