Alexander Mimmack grabbed one point to lead the Brainerd Warriors to a 6-2 victory over the Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake Moose.

Brainerd excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Warriors' offense rang up 32 shots on Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake's net. Brainerd's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.

Brainerd also had goals scored by Christopher Pohlkamp, who had two and Cole Smith, Jacob Ellingson, and Mason Severson, who scored one goal each. More assists for Brainerd came via Reno Fussy, who had two and Billy Desrocher, Isaac Johnson, Matt Blanch, Logan Rivard, and Jacob Donnay, who contributed one a piece.

The Moose were helped by Sam Johnson, who tallied one goal. Johnson scored 1:14 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Brainerd. McRae Haney picked up the assist. Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake also got a goal from Oliver Winsor as well. In addition, Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake received assists from Mark Rieger-Borer, who had one.

The Warriors' Kyle Helmberger stopped 20 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Brainerd totaled 15 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Darien Jones made 26 saves for Monticello/Annandale/Maple Lake on 32 shots. The Moose ended with seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major.
