Buffalo survives St. Michael-Albertville comeback, wins 5-4Buffalo Civic Center Sat, Jan 19, 2013 The St. Michael-Albertville Knights tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Buffalo Bison held on for a 5-4 victory. A goal by Hunter Bruhn put Buffalo up 4-2 in the third period, but St. Michael-Albertville pulled to within one on Mike Ryan's tally 9:19 into the third period. The Bison were sparked by Cale Ehresmann, who grabbed one goal. Ehresmann scored 15:39 into the third period to make the score 5-4 Buffalo. Reed Morehouse assisted on the tally. Buffalo forced the Knights goalie Matt Borgen to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. The Bison's goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Buffalo averages 2.2 goals per contest. Jake Ramsey also scored for Buffalo. More assists for Buffalo came via Joe Hayes, Gunnar Goodmanson, Justin Laven, and Jack Patnode, who each chipped in one. St. Michael-Albertville's offense rang up 41 shots on the Bison's net.
