Atlanta Jr. Knights boosted by Campbell's play in net, beats Tampa Juniors 4-1

Atlanta Jr. Knights relied on the sparkling performance of Austin Campbell in net to grab a 4-1 win against Tampa Juniors.

Atlanta Jr. Knights was sparked by Cody Stettin, who registered one goal. Stettin scored short handed 14:01 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Atlanta Jr. Knights. A tripping call on Nick Webb put Atlanta Jr. Knights on the penalty kill.

Atlanta Jr. Knights also got a goal from Jordan Simmonds as well. More assists for Atlanta Jr. Knights came via Jordan Landwehr and Alexander Goodhue, who contributed one a piece.

Tampa Juniors was led by Chase Anderson, who scored the team's only goal. Anderson scored on the power play 14:33 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Atlanta Jr. Knights. Tampa Juniors had taken the advantage when Atlanta Jr. Knights' Kenny Coleman got sent off for charging. Joona Huunanmaa assisted on the tally.

Austin Campbell made 25 saves for Atlanta Jr. Knights on 26 shots. Atlanta Jr. Knights totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. For Atlanta Jr. Knights, Coleman was ejected from the game. Braxton Schulz rejected 20 shots on goal for Tampa Juniors. Tampa Juniors incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
