Junior Bruins EJ stifles Florida Eels' comeback, gains 4-2 victory

Junior Bruins EJ, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by Junior Bruins EJ and clinched a 4-2 victory.

Junior Bruins EJ led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Junior Bruins EJ's Kyle Webb's scored on the power play at 23:01 in the first period to put Junior Bruins EJ up 4-1.

Junior Bruins EJ kept Florida Eels' goalie busy throughout the game, and Hunter Fernandez made 41 saves on 45 shots. Florida Eels was helped by Fredrik Wink, who tallied one goal. Wink scored on the power play 5:41 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Junior Bruins EJ. Florida Eels earned a power play opportunity when Shpakov was put in the box for holding. Daniel Filler provided the assist. Florida Eels also got a goal from Joey Colatarci as well. More assists for Florida Eels came via Zachery Mudge and Tom Doverhjelm, who contributed one a piece.

Junior Bruins EJ took out Matthew Penta after he had made 12 saves and installed Sean Lawrence in goal, where he finished with four saves and the win. Junior Bruins EJ registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Florida Eels incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
