Bridgton Academy came close to giving away a three-goal lead to East Coast Eagles, but did just enough to escape with a 3-2 victory. Bridgton Academy led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Bridgton Academy's Thomas Braswell's scored at 16:34 in the first period to put Bridgton Academy up 3-0. Braswell had two goals to lead Bridgton Academy to victory. Bridgton Academy excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Kevin Doherty also scored for Bridgton Academy. In addition, Bridgton Academy received assists from DJ Walsh, who had two and Mitchell Paulson and Tucker Ross, who contributed one a piece. East Coast Eagles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Bridgton Academy power plays. East Coast Eagles was helped by Jonathan Haun, who registered one goal. Haun scored 21:40 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Bridgton Academy. Stephen Fazzino provided the assist. East Coast Eagles also got a goal from Robert Crawford as well. Other players who recorded assists for East Coast Eagles were Nicholas Skerlick and Daniel Sabato, who each chipped in one. Bridgton Academy's Connor Murray stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Bridgton Academy incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Nicholas Poulos took the loss and made 10 saves before being replaced by Bryan Canter who made 10 saves. East Coast Eagles incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
