Dorchester downs Mt.Brydges, 5-2

Chris Buckholz registered one point to lead the Dorchester Dolphins to a 5-2 victory over the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs.

Mt.Brydges was unable to stop Dorchester from sending pucks towards the net, and the Dolphins eventually piled up 55 shots on goal.

Dorchester additionally got points from Shayne Rhyno, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Liam Gillooly, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Chad Brulotte, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Brendon O Shaughnessy, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Dorchester were Connor Lovell, Jacob Baribeau, Brett Dzyngel, and Patrick Freel, who each chipped in one.

The Bulldogs managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Mt.Brydges wound up below its season average of 18.0 penalty minutes per game.

The Bulldogs were led by Spencer Wilson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Wilson scored 5:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Mt.Brydges. Matt Dacosta picked up the assist. Mt.Brydges also got a goal from Grant Johns as well. In addition, Mt.Brydges received assists from Tony Lindner, who had one.

Dorchester's Alex Hutcheson stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Dolphins incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Eric Steinman made 50 saves for Mt.Brydges on 55 shots. The Bulldogs registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
