Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Tampa Juniors defeated Palm Beach Hawks in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

Tampa Juniors was helped by Jared Goudreau, who grabbed one goal. Goudreau scored 6:27 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Tampa Juniors. Paul Lochner provided the assist. Chase Anderson also scored for Tampa Juniors. More assists for Tampa Juniors came via Ben Winter, who had one and Brenden Rogers, who had two.

Palm Beach Hawks' offense rang up 40 shots on Tampa Juniors' net. Palm Beach Hawks' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Palm Beach Hawks finished with 16 penalty minutes.
