Potomac Patriots sunk by penalties, falls to Hampton Roads Whalers 6-3

A rash of penalties cost Potomac Patriots the game, as Hampton Roads Whalers netted four goals with a man advantage in a 6-3 win.

Hampton Roads Whalers was led by Joshua Malts, who registered one goal and one assist. Malts scored 16:22 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Hampton Roads Whalers.
