Jordan Simmonds tallied one point to lead Atlanta Jr. Knights to a 2-1 victory over Potomac Patriots.

Atlanta Jr. Knights forced Potomac Patriots goalie Alec Yutzler to work between the pipes, taking 50 shots.

Atlanta Jr. Knights also got a goal from Hunter Scott as well. Other players who recorded assists for Atlanta Jr. Knights were Aaron Dusek and Michael Farino, who each chipped in one.

Potomac Patriots was led by Sean Gregory, who scored the team's only goal. Gregory scored on the power play 2:23 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Potomac Patriots had gotten the advantage when Atlanta Jr. Knights' Simmonds was sent off for slashing. Charles Rempe assisted on the tally.
