Atlanta Jr. Knights gutted out a close 4-2 win against Potomac Patriots. Atlanta Jr. Knights gained the winning advantage on a goal by Alexander Goodhue 9:41 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. Potomac Patriots' power play was ineffective against Atlanta Jr. Knights' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Atlanta Jr. Knights was paced by Goodhue, who finished with one goal. Potomac Patriots was unable to stop Atlanta Jr. Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and Atlanta Jr. Knights eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.
