Tampa Juniors tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Palm Beach Hawks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-1. A goal by Nick Aleva put Palm Beach Hawks up 3-0 in the third period, but Tampa Juniors pulled to within two on Tommy Whiteley's tally 19:58 into the third period. Palm Beach Hawks' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Tampa Juniors power plays. Tampa Juniors was unable to stop Palm Beach Hawks from sending pucks towards the net, and Palm Beach Hawks eventually piled up 46 shots on goal. In addition, Palm Beach Hawks received assists from Chip DeFelice, Jake Simons, and CJ Hoy, who each chipped in one. Tampa Juniors excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Tampa Juniors' offense rang up 36 shots on Palm Beach Hawks' net.
