Florida Eels pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Space Coast Hurricanes on a clutch goal by Tom Doverhjelm.

Florida Eels got the win on the strength of a great game by Doverhjelm, who had one goal and two assists. Doverhjelm scored 2:16 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Florida Eels. Zachery Mudge assisted on the tally.

Florida Eels forced Space Coast Hurricanes' goaltenders to work without much rest, racking up 33 shots and forcing 30 saves. Parker Bonis made 21 stops and Nicholas Wayland made nine. Florida Eels excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Florida Eels also got points from Mudge, who also tallied one goal and two assists and Samuel Stone, who also registered one goal and one assist. More assists for Florida Eels came via Trent McDougall, who had one.

Space Coast Hurricanes was led by Jack Musil, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Musil scored 16:08 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Florida Eels. Andrew Bathgate picked up the assist. Space Coast Hurricanes also got a goal from Crissostomos Villarreal as well. Other players who recorded assists for Space Coast Hurricanes were Johnny Murray and Garrett Gunski, who contributed one a piece.

Christopher James rejected 28 shots on goal for Florida Eels. Florida Eels incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors and had no power play opportunities. Space Coast Hurricanes incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
