Florida Eels' Daniel Filler had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 5-1 win over Palm Beach Hawks.

Filler got on the board by slotting home a goal 9:56 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Florida Eels. Joey Colatarci picked up the assist. Filler dished an assist on Steven Prince's goal that made the score 3-0 Florida Eels at 14:19 into the second period. He added another helper on Prince's goal that made the score 4-0 Florida Eels at 18:25 into the second period.

Florida Eels' penalty kill excelled, as Florida Eels gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Florida Eels stifled Palm Beach Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Florida Eels forced Palm Beach Hawks goalie Shayne Dietl to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots.

Florida Eels also got a goal from Jeffery Brannon as well. In addition, Florida Eels received assists from Jordy John, Fredrik Wink, and Samuel Stone, who contributed one a piece.

CJ Hoy also scored for Palm Beach Hawks. Other players who recorded assists for Palm Beach Hawks were Brandon Desrosiers and Jake Simons, who each chipped in one.

Hunter Fernandez recorded 23 saves for Florida Eels. Florida Eels incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Palm Beach Hawks' Dietl stopped 41 shots out of the 46 that he faced. Palm Beach Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
