Atlanta Jr. Knights uses early goal to top East Coast Eagles, 2-0

Shaunak Pal scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and Atlanta Jr. Knights held off the challenges of East Coast Eagles in a tough 2-0 win.

Pal provided Atlanta Jr. Knights with the game-winning tally when he scored 5:44 into the the first period. A slashing call on Hunter Scott put Atlanta Jr. Knights on the penalty kill. George Gerasimou provided the assist.

Atlanta Jr. Knights was led by Pal, who finished with one goal.

Atlanta Jr. Knights excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Atlanta Jr. Knights' defense was surprisingly good. Atlanta Jr. Knights gives up 2.1 goals on average per game.

Atlanta Jr. Knights also got a goal from Jordan Simmonds as well. In addition, Atlanta Jr. Knights received assists from Aaron Dusek, who had one.
