Atlanta Jr. Knights boosted by Campbell's play in net, beats East Coast Eagles 4-1

Austin Campbell had a standout game with 32 saves, and Atlanta Jr. Knights beat East Coast Eagles 4-1.

Atlanta Jr. Knights was led by Tyler Pionk, who registered one goal. Pionk scored 9:56 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Atlanta Jr. Knights. Shaunak Pal picked up the assist.

Atlanta Jr. Knights excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. East Coast Eagles was unable to stop Atlanta Jr. Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and Atlanta Jr. Knights eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

Derek Makimaa also scored for Atlanta Jr. Knights. In addition, Atlanta Jr. Knights received assists from Zachary Bakotic, Jordan Simmonds, Daniel Fendius, and Aaron Blaker, who each chipped in one.

East Coast Eagles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Atlanta Jr. Knights power plays. East Coast Eagles forced Atlanta Jr. Knights goalie Campbell to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

East Coast Eagles was led by Richard Hudzik, who scored the team's only goal. Hudzik scored 14:51 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Connor Kaminski assisted on the tally.

Atlanta Jr. Knights incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Nicholas Poulos rejected 39 shots on goal for East Coast Eagles. East Coast Eagles incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
