Atlanta Jr. Knights gutted out a close 4-2 win against East Coast Eagles. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Brent Wilcox secured the win for Atlanta Jr. Knights with a goal in the second period. Atlanta Jr. Knights was paced by Wilcox, who finished with one goal. Wilcox scored on the power play 5:07 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Atlanta Jr. Knights. An interference penalty on Elijah Spear had put Atlanta Jr. Knights on the power play. Cody Stettin assisted on the tally. Atlanta Jr. Knights put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow East Coast Eagles to score on any of its five power plays. Atlanta Jr. Knights could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Atlanta Jr. Knights also got a goal from Tyler Pionk as well. More assists for Atlanta Jr. Knights came via Zachary Bakotic, Jordan Simmonds, William Bray, and Aaron Blaker, who each chipped in one. East Coast Eagles' penalty kill unit could not stop Atlanta Jr. Knights' power play, which converted on three of four opportunities. East Coast Eagles was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes. East Coast Eagles was helped by dan sabato, who grabbed one goal. Sabato scored 17:47 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Atlanta Jr. Knights. Nathaniel Thiemann also scored for East Coast Eagles. Brandon Haase made 15 saves for Atlanta Jr. Knights on 17 shots. East Coast Eagles' Bryan Canter stopped 20 shots out of the 24 that he faced.
