The St. Catharines Falcons pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the London Nationals on a clutch goal by Riley Jakobschuk. Jakobschuk had a great game for St. Catharines, netting two goals. Jakobschuk found the back of the net 16:25 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while on the power play 11:25 into the fourth to make the score 3-2 St. Catharines. The Falcons' offense rang up 38 shots on London's net. Andrew Darrigo also scored for St. Catharines. More assists for St. Catharines came via Broderick Kelly, who had two and Matt Melo, Dan MacEachern, Johnson Andrews, and Luke Karaim, who each chipped in one. The Nationals kept St. Catharines' goalie busy throughout the game, and Brad Pope made 32 saves on 34 shots. London was helped by Aaron Dartch, who finished with one goal. Dartch scored 9:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. Tyler Bryden provided the assist. London also got a goal from Spencer Watson as well. In addition, London received assists from Noah Schwartz and Daniel Cameron, who contributed one a piece. The Falcons incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Taylor Edwards rejected 35 shots on goal for the Nationals. London incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
