The St. Catharines Falcons could not hold down the Brantford Golden Eagles, and Golden Eagles erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 3-2 win.

Brantford never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Golden Eagles trailed 2-0 after a power play goal by St. Catharines' Jimmy Sheehan at 8:28 in the second period. Brantford tied things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Brett Appio at 17:43 in the second period. The Golden Eagles netted the game winner at 18:52 in the third period on a goal by Appio.

Matt Quilty was all over the ice for Brantford, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

The Golden Eagles forced the Falcons goalie Brad Pope to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Brantford was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play.
