Jack Decker pitched a quality game, giving up just 1 run on on 3 hits, striking out 9.  However that 1 run proved to be 1 to many as the Clips could not push a run across the board all night long.  The Clippers had runners in scoring position multiple times but were unable to get the timely hit needed to score the tying run.

Clips go down 0-1 in the best of 3 series.  Game 2 is tonight in Lima, Ohio.  If they Clippers win, the decisive game 3 will be Saturday at Marsh Field in Muskegon!
