Royals 2019 grad Tim Holyk is off to a blazing start with the Miles Community College Pioneers this season.  Holyk, a covid-Sophomore, mans the hot corner for the Pioneers and was a stand-out in the team’s opening series against Northeastern Junior College this past weekend.  Held off the bases in game 1, Holyk proceeded to hit bombs in each of the three remaining games of the series.

Tim’s first big fly was a 2-run shot that came in Game 2 as the Pioneers tried to rally trailing in the 7th.  In Game 3, Holyk launched his second homer along with a double to keep the Pioneers close.  Home run #3 came in the third inning of Game 4, a 3-run blast to put the Pioneers up 3-0.   After Northeastern had tied things up in the 4th, Holyk came up again with 2 men aboard in the 5th and mashed his second 3-run home run of the game, his 4th of the weekend.

When the dust had cleared, he had collected 4 home runs, a double, and 3 singles along with 10 RBI.  Have a weekend Tim!
