Former Sabre Dogs first baseman Bo McClintock has signed a contract with the Boise Hawks out of the Pioneer League to begin his professional baseball career. McClintock played for the Sabre Dogs in the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
The Point University Skyhawks product played in 83 games between is two seasons with the Sabre Dogs. In his Sabre Dogs career, McClintock compiled 13 homeruns and 75 RBI while hitting 0.296. Bo was a two time Expedition League All-Star and represented the Sabre Dogs in the 2019 homerun derby at Corbett Field.
The Hawks are based out of Boise, Idaho, and are a member of the MLB Partner League. Boise has been a member of the Pioneer League since 1987. The Hawks have been affiliated with the California/Anaheim Angels (1990-2000), Chicago Cubs (2001-2014), and Colorado Rockies (2015-2019).
