The Cape Catfish hosted the Clinton LumberKings in a second consecutive game at Capaha Park on Wednesday, June 16. 

 

The ‘Fish started off strong with 5 runs across in the bottom of the second inning. The home team exhibited strong teamwork throughout the game, with 10 total RBIs for 12 total hits.  

 

Cape’s number 24 Ellison Hanna and number 55 Seth Johnson each hit double RBIs in the bottom of the second, which tied the game 2-2. Kolten Poorman, Zack Beekmann, and Jackson Campbell scored in addition to Hanna and Johnson. 

 

The LumberKings scored in the first, fifth, seventh, and eighth. The ‘Fish put runs across in the second, fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth. Hanna hit a home run in bottom of the eighth for a final score of 10-8 in favor of the Catfish.
