Sometimes, you have to tip your cap to the other guys. Hastings starting pitcher, Jeremy Schneider, pitched effectively, but a rematch between him and Fremont's Linder didn't go our way. Schneider leaned on his defense, throwing 6 innings with only 1 strikeout and 1 walk. All three runs were earned, but it could have been more without some exceptional plays behind him. Schneider takes the loss, dropping to 0-2 with a 3.38 ERA on the young season. Sodbusters fall to 2-5. 

The Moo struck early, putting up 2 runs in the top of the first. Fremont added another in the 5th off Schneider. Schneider was able to throw one more scoreless inning before handing off to the bullpen. The combination of Jacob Shaw and Chris Mazzini finished the final 3 frames without allowing a run.

The only blemish for the Moo pitching staff was a 7th inning RBI single off the bat of Cole Dawson, scoring Matt Rodriguez. Cameron McClure led the 'Busters at the plate with a pair of hits. 

Fremont is atop the Clark Division with a 6-1 record.
