The Glace Bay U15A Miners picked up and exciting playoff win 4-2 over the Sydney Steelers Tuesday night at the Miners Forum. 

The Miners kicked off the scoring with a goal off the stick of Logan Smith at 3:24 of the first period. 

The Steelers though would tie the game before the period was done at 7:47 from Ewan MacNeil. 

In the second the Miners would regain the lead as Ben Peach would make it 2-1 Glace Bay. 

But Sydney would answer back again with Josh Gogan knotting the game at two, but just seconds later Ben Peach would give the Miners a 3-2 lead. 

Peach’s goal would prove to be the game winner. Zack Barrett would round out the scoring for Glace Bay. 

The U15A is currently playing a round robin playoff with home games on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm at the Miners Forum.
