The Glace Bay Bantam AA Miners split a pair of exhibition games over the weekend. 
 

The Miners opened the weekend with a win 4-2 over the County Islanders on Friday night. 
 

Saturday was a close affair with the Miners dropping a 5-4 decision to Cape Breton West. 
 

The Miners will play their season opener on Monday (Oct 18th) vs County Islanders at 7:30pm at the Miners Forum.
