Calgary, Alta. – The 2019-20 American Hockey League’s (AHL) 2019-20 regular season is under way, and so far 65 Ontario Junior Hockey League graduates  have suited up for various teams in the league.

All 31 AHL clubs feature multiple players, who took to the ice in at least one Canadian Junior Hockey League contest during their junior careers, on their teams.

Both the Stockton Heat, the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, and the Iowa Wild, whose parent organization is the Minnesota Wild, boast 10 CJHL alumni each to lead the way in this category.

Meanwhile, the Rochester Americans (Buffalo Sabres) and Springfield Thunderbirds (Florida Panthers) each have nine ex-CJHLers in their respective line-ups.

Check out the list of 171 CJHL alumni presently on AHL rosters: (As of Oct. 18, 2019) HERE
