Like last week, things got started off quickly on the offensive end.
Fremont tallied in the first when Tyler Push led off the game with a single and scored in an RBI single by Luke White, making it 1-0.
However, in the bottom of the frame, the Trappers responded. Ken Scott and Zane Phelps hit back to back solo shots, Scott's second and Phelps 11th, giving Pierre the advantage, 2-1.
Fremont immediately countered with a pair in the top of the second frame. Both Brenden Duncan and Push crossed home plate, one scoring off a fielders choice, and the Moo took another lead at 3-2.
The Trappers battled back to level things in the third when Nick Grossman drove in Michael Herrera.
Then, in the fourth, another run by the home team. With one out, Niko Piazza was able to race to the plate on a throwing error by the third baseman White, making it 4-3 in favor of Pierre.
Things would stay that way until the sixth. Fremont, with nobody out scored a pair as the leadoff two men Brock Reller and Jack Simonsen tallied to give the visiting team the lead back, 5-4.
Both teams scored in the seventh, and with it 6-5 Fremont in the ninth, reliever Cedrick Girard walked three batters and hit one, allowing Grossman to tie the game on a 3-2, two out walk by Max Modeste.
But, in the 10th, the Moo got a pair on an RBI single by Emmanuel and then a throwing error by Pierre pitching, and it was quickly 8-6.
The Trappers tried to rally in the bottom of the frame, loading the bases with nobody out. Phelps flew out to right to drive in Jonathan Boulaphinh, but Ken Scott was thrown out at second base on a flyout by Grossman. The final score would read 8-7, and the Trappers stayed a half game ahead of Souris Valley after the Sabre Dogs lost at home to Badlands.
