Game two of the series was a back and forth battle.

In the first, Fremont again tallied quickly, when Wilson Ehrhardt and Rinnie Mcbride singled. One batter later, Luke White his his second homer in as many days, and the Moo were ahead 3-0 after one.

Things stayed that way until the third, when Fremont score again via an RBI double by Brock Reller. This scored Mcbride, his second run of the game, and it was 4-0.

However, Pierre got some runs back in the bottom of the frame. Sam Kalberer doubled to start the inning, and after Herrera singled, Alex Gonzales launched his third homer of the season to cut the deficit to 4-3.

No one would score in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, with both starters settling down. Seth Brewer for Pierre went six frames, allowing four runs, while Bobby Meza Jr. gave up the same amount in 6 1/3.

In the bottom of the seventh, Herrera was able to tie the score, sending a sac fly to center field and allowing pinch runner Tyler Ranel to scamper home and tie the game, 4-4.

Fremont started resilient, however. After getting out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the eighth, the Moo tallied two in the ninth, with both Mcbride and White tacking RBI singles to their stat lines.

The Trappers, with two outs in the ninth, got within 6-5 when Gonzales ripped an 0-2 offering into left center, brining the winning run to the plate. However, Zane Phelps grounded to short and Gonzales was thrown out at second on a fielders choice to end the contest.
