Even though the rain shortened the game, the fireworks were aplenty in Wednesday's game.

Fremont got off to a hot start, taking a 2-0 lead behind a home run by Luke White three batters into the game.

However, Pierre responded in the bottom of the first. After Michael Herrera was hit by a pitch, Alex Gonzales was hit by a pitch, and the next sox Trapper hitters all reached bases, five of them scoring. In the frame, Pierre recorded three hits, three walks, and an RBI flyout by Johnny Pacheco. This made it 5-3 after one.

Pierre continued the onslaught in the bottom of the second.

After Zane Phelps led off with a walk, Nick Grossman and Ken Scott singled and doubled, respectively, which led to a four run barrage. In the frame, Scott has two RBI with that double.

With the score 9-2 in the fourth, Fremont got back into the scoring category as Wilson Ehrhardt singled in Pete Carlson with two outs. This cut the deficit to 9-3, which was as close as the Moo would get.

To end the contest, the Trappers scored a pair in their half of the fourth, as Bill Moreland singled to lead off the frame, and Max Modeste quickly doubled him in. One batter later, Modeste scampered home on a wild pitch, and 11-3 meant Pierre had score 10+ runs for the firth consecutive game. After lightning and rain inhabited the field after the top of the fifth, the game was called with the Trappers winning their fifth in a row, 11-3.
