The Ontario Junior Hockey League is represented at Development Camps run by NHL teams this summer – beginning this week:

• Eric Ciccolini of the Toronto Jr. Canadiens is at camp with the New York Rangers – who selected him in the seventh round of Saturday’s NHL Draft. The Vaughan resident will play at the University of Michigan next season.

• Mitchell Weeks of the Newmarket Hurricanes is in Arizona at camp with the NHL Coyotes. The goaltender committed to the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL earlier this year.

• Zach Uens of the Wellington Dukes was invited to the Vegas Golden Knights’ camp. Uens will attend Merrimack College beginning this fall.

• Harrison Rees of the North York Rangers is at San Jose Sharks camp. The big defenceman is slated to play at the University of Connecticut next season.

• Dustyn McFaul of the Pickering Panthers is at the Boston Bruins camp, which begins Wednesday in Brighton, Mass. A sixth-round pick of the Bruins in 2018, he will play at Clarkson next year.

• Former OJHLers Hunter Jones (Stouffville) and Jack McBain (Jr. Canadiens) are at camp with the Minnesota Wild. Jones, now with the Peterborough Petes in the OHL, was picked in the second round Saturday. McBain, who just finished his freshman season at Boston College, went in the third round in 2018.

• St. Michael’s Buzzers alum Jake Evans is at Montreal Canadiens camp. Following four years of NCAA pucks at Notre Dame, he played at Laval in AHL last year. The forward from Toronto was a seventh-round pick of Montreal in 2014.

• Aurora Tigers grad Noah Delmas will attend camp with the Carolina Hurricanes later this week. The Schomberg resident is captain at Niagara University in Western New York.
