Nashville - Day 1 of the NAIHA national tournament saw a great pace and very competitive games.  In Game 1, Lawrence Tech was able to hold off a gritty Waldorf team and come out victorious, 5-3.  In game 2, Midland University used their skill and speed to overcome a tough performance by the Lindenwood Lynx, 4-2.  In the final game of the day, Indiana Tech was down early but came storming back to take the game 6-2 from Concordia University in spite of a stellar performance by the Concordia netminder.  At the end of Day 1, the standings look this way:
