Matadors Set Tryout Dates
Date: Aug 12, 2022
NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - CSUN has qualified for the ACHA Division 2 West Regional Tournament for the second time in the past three seasons.
The Matadors once again finished ranked 10th just as they did two seasons ago and will play No. 11 Montana State for the first time ever in the opening round.
CSUN jumped up six spots in the final ranking due to an 8-0 victory over Loyola Marymount in the West Coast Hockey Conference semifinals and then a 4-3 victory over Long Beach State in the final to claim its third consecutive conference championship.
