Ian Leatherman is a native of Jenison, Michigan where he was a three-year letter winner in baseball. In 2016 and 2017, Ian was named the the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association Division I All-State Second Team. In addition, he earned All-OK Conference honors in 2016 and 2017 leading Jenison High School to OK Black Division Conference Championships in both years. A multi-sport athlete, Ian was a four-year letter varsity tennis player as well as a two-year member of the Wildcats' Varsity Basketball Program. Ian has demonstrated a strong work ethic in both the athletic arena and in the classroom where he maintained a 3.8 GPA throughout his high school career. The hard throwing right-handed pitcher features three outstanding pitches and will join his brother Pat as a member of the Central Michigan University pitching staff.
