ETHAN SANASIE - EDWARDS COMMITS TO POWERHOUSE WVC

Date:  Source: Terriers Baseball

The entire Terriers organization would like to congratulate Ethan Sanasie-Edwards and his family on Ethan's commitment to the NJCAA D1 Wabash Valley College Warriors. ‎Wabash Valley was found in 1960 and is located in Mount Carmel, Illinois. The Warriors compete in the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.

Ethan patrols the outfield for the Terriers‎ and is a plus defender in all aspects of his defensive game. He effortlessly glides to balls making difficult plays look routine. His arm strength is above average and his throws are delivered with pin point accuracy.

On the offensive side he was a force in the Terriers line-up this past season. He hit for average and blasted several majestic home-runs to right field, including a clutch two out bomb at the PBLO play-offs in Windsor.

The WVC Warriors completed 2018 ranked 7th in NJCAA D1 national polls. ‎They were 45-11 (.798) with a team batting average of. 313. This lethal juggernaut smashed 45 Homers and stole 105 bases. They advanced to the College World Series with a thrilling 1-0 win over Indian Hills Community College. It was scoreless until the bottom of the ninth when the Warriors walked the game off with a head first slide on a suicide squeeze. A staggering fifteen Warriors signed National Letter of Intent's with NCAA D1 programs in 2017.

‎Ethan attends Cardinal Leger High School where he was named Athlete of the Year and the MVP of the baseball team. He will be studying Massage Therapy at Wabash Valley.

Best of luck Ethan
