Nagorski dials back the clock as Baycats hold on to steal back home field advantage from Panthers

KITCHENER, ON - Three to go.

 

The Barrie Baycats defeated the Kitchener Panthers 6-4 on Thursday evening to tie their best-of-seven league championship series against the Panthers at one game apiece.

 

Baycats reliever Emilis Guerrero recorded the victory, tossing three and one-third of an inning while giving up one earned run on four hits and zero base on balls, while striking out three batters along the way.

 

Baycats third basemen Branfy Infante led the way at the plate, going one-for-two with two base on balls.

 

Panthers starter Jonder Martinez took the loss, tossing six innings while giving up five earned runs on seven hits and two base on balls, while striking out three batters along the way.
