St. Kitts incredible as Baycats win game two against Cardinals

HAMILTON, ON - Six to go.

 

The Barrie Baycats defeated the Hamilton Cardinals 1-0 on Friday evening to take a 2-0 series lead in their best-of-seven semi-final series.

 

Baycats starter Matthew St. Kitts recorded the victory, tossing a complete game performance while giving up zero earned runs on six hits and zero base on balls, while striking out thirteen batters along the way.

 

Baycats shortstop Starlin Rodriguez led the way at the plate, going two-for-three.

 

Cardinals starter Chris Lazar took the loss, tossing a complete game performance while giving up one earned run on seven hits and two base on balls, while striking out zero batters along the way.

 

BARRIE - 1-7-0

 

HAMILTON - 0-6-0

 

Game three of this semi-final series against takes place Sunday evening in Midhurst.

 

First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
