Kitchener was up 2-1 in the sixth when Keegan Marsden launched a three-run homer that scored Mike Gordner and Brian Burton. Yorbis Borroto and Colin Gordner both scored on throwing errors earlier in the game.
Brantford's Ricky Murray scored in the fourth when he singled, took second on an errant pick-off attempt, and was driven home by an RBI single from Nic Burdett. DeAndre Ashbury-Heath scored in the ninth when he reached on a wild pitch, made it to second on a single and came home on a wild throw back to the mound.
