Red hot Royals win sixth straight

Guelph won its sixth straight game Thursday, beating the London Majors 13-7 at Labatt Park. 


Sean Reilly led the way offensively, going 3-for-6 with two home runs, four RBI and four runs. Reilly is now tied with London's Cleveland Brownlee for the longball lead with 12. 

Brendan Keys had two hits, two runs and an RBI, Adam Rossit doubled, drove in a run and scored twice, Darius Barlas went 2-for-4 with a run, Justin Interisano and Jeff MacLeod had an RBI apiece, Ethan Mohan had two hits, two RBI and two runs, and Angel Villalona and Josh Garton each singled and scored. 

Yunior Yambatis (5-3) was dominant on the mound, giving up a run on three hits with a walk and six strikeouts over seven innings. 

Guelph (15-19) is tied with Toronto for fourth place. 
For London, Brownlee had three hits and two RBI. Byron Reichstein, RJ Fuhr and Byron Mansfield each had a hit and an RBI, Troy Lofgren drove in a pair and scored twice, and Robert Doyle singled twice, tripled and scored a pair of runs. 

Marcus Muir-McEachran (0-1) took the loss in relief, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on nine hits over five innings. He walked six and struck out two. 

Starter Kyle Gormandy went three innings, giving up two runs on three hits with a walk and two strikeouts. 

The third-place Majors dropped to 19-15.
