Kitchener, Ontario — On July 29th, the Kitchener Panthers honoured 8 of the Intercounty Baseball League's (IBL) top 100 players of all time with a special 100th season banner displayed on the concourse at Jack Couch Park and a gold Rawlings bat acknowledging their achievement.

As part of the 100th season commemoration, the IBL undertook an effort to identify the top 100 players over 10 decades of baseball and across all teams that participated in the IBL. Each team submitted names from their own archives and a committee of mostly former sports writers reviewed names based on a list of criteria. 25 Kitchener Panthers are included on the top 100 list with the following in attendance on Sunday:

Gary Ebel (1964-1979)

Brad Hagedorn (1989-2004)

Bruce Klaehn (1972-1984)

Paul Knight (1967-1983)

Tom McKenzie (1966-1980)

Bob McKillop (1966-1977)

Jeff Pietraszko (1995-2014)

Jason Rausch (1988-1998)
