Six-run ninth propels Panthers past Royals

Kitchener had four hits in the inning, highlighted by Brian Burton's two-out grand slam. Burton had the Panthers' first RBI in the eighth inning when he drew a bases-loaded walk. Mike Glinka and Tanner Nivins drove in the other runs, and Colin Gordner went 2-for-4 with a run. 
Miguel Lahera (3-1) recorded the last four outs for the win. He walked one and struck out three. 


Stephen Gade started and went 5.1 innings, giving up one run on four hits with a walk and six strikeouts. 


Sean Reilly went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Royals. Ethan Mohan and Jeff MacLeod had two hits apiece. 


Yomar Concepcion (1-4) took the loss, allowing six runs (two earned) with two walks in two-thirds of an inning. 


Starter Edwin Javier gave up a run on four hits over eight innings, walking three and striking out 11. 


Kitchener improved to 15-6, and Guelph dropped to 7-14.
