Interisano finished 3-for-5 and also had a solo home run as Guelph improved to 5-9. 
Darius Barlas had two hits and two RBI in the win. His fielder's choice in the eighth inning scored Adam Rossit and pulled the Royals to within a run. Guelph tied the game a batter later when Brendan Keys scored on a wild pitch. 

Jeff MacLeod singled twice.

Ben Reid (1-0) recorded the last four out for the win. He walked one and struck out two without allowing a hit. Yomar Concepcion started and went 7.2 innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on seven hits with three walks and seven strikeouts. 
Byron Reichstein, Evan Britt and Matt Hexter each had a hit and RBI for the Majors, who dropped to 9-5. Jacen Nalesnik singled, doubled and scored a run. 

Kelvin Pichardo (1-1) took the loss. He went 1.1 innings and yielded three runs (one earned) on one hit with two walks and a strikeout. Starter Owen Boon lasted seven innings and gave up two runs on seven hits with three walks and five strikeouts.
