The PIHL Varsity postseason begins its Pens Cup and D2 playoffs on Monday, March 5 and will conclude with the championship finals for Class AAA, AA, A and D2 on March 19 and 20.

Class AAA will have the top 4 seeds hosting a Quarter-Final game during the week of March 5--8. The #1 Seed and defending AAA PA State Champions Peters Township will host Plum; #2 Seed Seneca Valley hosts Bethel Park; #3 Seed Cathedral Prep hosts Mt. Lebanon; and the #4 Seed North Allegheny will host Butler.

Class AA features 2 Play-In games followed by the top 4 seeds hosting Quarter-Final games during the week of March 5 -8. #4 Seed from the East Franklin Regional will host Mars and the #4 Seed from the West Quaker Valley is hosting Shaler who beat Penn -Trafford in the Qualifier game to solidify the 5th and final seed in the East. Quarter-Final games will be on Thursday, March 8 where #1 West Seed Armstrong will play winner of Franklin Regional/Mars; #1 East Seed Greater Latrobe will host Quaker Valley/Shaler winner. #2 East Seed Upper St. Clair hosts Hampton; and #2 West Seed Pine-Richland hosts Hempfield.

Class A will have 4 Play-In games followed by the top 4 seeds hosting Quarter-Final games during the week of March 5-8. Play-In games will have Sewickley Academy hosting Fox Chapel; Westmont Hilltop hosting South Park; South Fayette hosting Chartiers Valley; and Indiana hosting Kiski Area. Later that week, #1 Seed Bishop McCort, #2 Seed Meadville, #3 Seed Thomas Jefferson, and #4 Seed West Allegheny will host winners of respective games above.

The D2 Class will have their top 4 seeds hosting Quarter-Final games the week of March 5-8. The #1 Seed Moon hosts Central Valley; #2 Seed Ringgold hosts Trinity; #3 Seed Burrell hosts Kennedy Catholic; and #4 Seed Connellsville hosts Elizabeth Forward.

The Pens Cup Champions of Class AAA, AA, and A will advance to the Pennsylvania State Championships on Saturday, March 24 vs. the respective Flyers Cup Champions at Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA.
