Burrell Hosts Fundraiser Game for Fallen Officer

Date:  Source: PIHL Highschool Site

On Friday, December 22, 2017, the Burrell Bucs Hockey Club and Plum Mustangs, in cooperation with the Pittsburgh Ice Arena, will be hosting a Varsity scrimmage to benefit the family of fallen New Kensington Police Officer Brian Shaw.

The game will begin at 8:30 PM and will feature the area’s top high school hockey teams.

In addition to the game, we will be accepting donations, there will be 50/50 raffles, silent auctions and Chinese auctions.

We are reaching out to our community businesses seeking donations of services, merchandise, or gift cards, to be used for our silent and Chinese auctions.  As well, we are seeking any monetary donations that you are comfortable with, which will be distributed to the family.

If you are able to make a donation, please contact either Dave Schueler (Schueler209@comcast.net or 724-681-6560) or Dave Burkett (daveburkett8484@gmail.com or 412-295-6984) and we will make the arrangements to pick up your generous offering.  All checks should be made payable to Burrell Hockey Booster Club.

It is times like these, when we truly see the generosity of our community.  Whether it is a spaghetti dinner, charity basketball game, bake sale or any other attempt to raise funds, the community continues to go above and beyond to offer its support.

Your support during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
