The University of Delaware participated in the East Coast Showdown on November 17-19 in Aston, PA, and a strong showing by the Blue Hens earned them the top spot in the weekend event at the Women's D2 level.  UD posted comfortable wins on all three of their games, including two shutouts and a combined score of 20-2.  One of the two shutouts came against 4th-ranked Montclair State, solidifying the Hens as a true National Title contender.

Delaware is now 13-1 in ACHA play, 8-1 in CHE action, and 14-2-1 overall.  They sit in the #2 spot in the latest ACHA Women's D2 East Region Rankings and in first place in the College Hockey East Women's Division 2 Eastern Conference.
